It’s a catchy tagline! And it’s so, so true! This past weekend we were vendors at North Country Fiber Fair in Watertown, SD.
There weren’t a lot of vendors, but the ones there were exceptional! Excellent yarns, gifts, baskets, buttons, ceramics, LOTS of spinning fibers and tools – just a wonderful variety of great small businesses! We made so many new friends and got some leads for new shows and festivals. Kathleen is already hard at work creating our vending schedule for 2015.
Speaking of shows and festivals-Is there a fiber festival you love? We would welcome suggestions in the comments. We are thinking smaller shows, (large shows like Rhinebeck and Maryland Sheep and Wool and Stitches are already being considered). We enjoy meeting everyone at these shows!
In other ModeKnit Yarn news, the start date for Claire’s Cabled Capelet Knit-Along is officially October 1st! Join our Ravelry group and knit this fun (and POPULAR) pattern. Annie and Kathleen will both be moderating the group. Please please join us!
