Welcome to ModeKnit Yarn. We're glad you're here.

Weekending

This past weekend we were vendors at Fall Fiber Festival right here in our own backyard.

What an absolutely delightful show! What a long day!

The day started at 5:30 am for load-up. For local shows like this, we don’t rent a trailer. (Hopefully we will be buying our own in the next 6 months). I loaded up my husband’s pick-up truck, headed over to pick up Annie, and we hit the road. We were at the Eisenhower Center by 7, and set-up began. Our friend Karen (the same Karen who “taught” me to knit) met us there to help. More hands are better that early in the morning.

The market opened at 9 am , and we were off and running. It was such a busy day!

We debuted our new TimeLord Gradient sets, (more on those later) and we had the Brahmin Moth Shawl as a featured sample. We saw old friends, made new friends, and sold lots of yarn. Annie’s son Max was on-hand for the break down, and we left tired, but happy. (The one-day shows are the hardest, it’s such a loooong day, but so much fun).

A huge “Thank-you” to everyone who came out to see us!  Our next show is Interweave Yarn Fest in Loveland, CO March 31, April 1 & 2 2016. But there’s plenty in between to keep us busy. We’ll be updating the website soon with new colors and some new gradient sets. Want to be the first to know? Sign up for our newsletter.

Don’t forget, the ModeKnit Yarn Clubs are OPEN for membership! Sock Club details are here and DK Club details are here.  Join the fun!
