Life continues to roll along here in Saint Paul. We are smack in the middle of the MN State Fair. Kathleen headed over there on Friday last week, and what did she find there?
She found Twinsetellen’s fabulous socks, knit in ModeSock Gilmarite, with a fifth place ribbon!! So exciting!! Kathleen actually danced a little dance (like a knitting nerd) right there in front of the window before she snapped the picture.
There may have been a second ModeSock sighting at the Fair, but we’re waiting for confirmation…
Kathleen stopped by to visit her friend Renee from Ghana Crazy. Renee has lovely baskets, imported from Ghana. You may have seen her at Shepherd’s Harvest, and she’ll be at North Country Fiber Fair in September, along with ModeKnit Yarn and many others.
Annie continues her recovery from shingles. It’s been a rough road these past few weeks, but she’s heading in the right direction. Both ModeKnit partners have acupuncture appointments this week.
