The ModeKnit Yarn Team!

Welcome to our company!  We’re small, but hard working, and we know how to have a good time on the road!

Annie Modesitt wanted to create a line of hand dyed yarns in the semi-solids and color blends that she finds so inspiring.

After 30+ years as a Hand Knit Designer, Craft Author and Hand Knit Teacher, Annie had some firm ideas about creating colors that would work well in MANY combinations, allowing anyone to feel like an absolute color maven.

Annie passed away on October 1, 2020 after a long dance with cancer. She is deeply missed.

Kathleen Pascuzzi comes to ModeKnit Yarn a knitter with more than 20 years of experience in retail and sales management.

Kathleen can tell you ANYTHING about how our colors work together, what is the best pattern for your project (even if it’s NOT one of ours…) and by the time you’ve left the booth you’ll be best friends!

Layla Mongeon joined us as a part-time dyer more than two years ago  and now she’s so much part of MKY it would be hard to imagine dyeing without her joyous face.

We’re switching to an order-by-available-inventory system instead of our original Dye On Demand, we’re sorry if that affects any of our customers badly, do contact us and perhaps there’s a way to work around any issues!

We work from St. Paul, Minnesota, so you’re certain to make something nice with our yarn!
