It was a lovely weekend in Grayslake, IL! We were vendors at The Midwest Fiber and Folk Art Fair and had such a fabulous time!
We met so many lovely people at the Fair. The Knitting Goddess and Fleur de Fiber were our neighbors; much fun and hilarity was had in our little corner of the show. Our booth looked good- it’s an evolving work-in-progress that changes and adapts to each new show space.
Our dear friend Karen came along to help us out, and we could not have done it without her! She drove both ways (six hours +!), helped with set-up and break-down, and worked in the booth with Kathleen while Annie was teaching.
Annie’s classes were great. Plaid Cowl anyone? We showed a new cowl knit in our new ModeWerk Bulky. Pattern coming soon.
Flow was a hit, as were our new Caledonian Colors in both Flow and mini skein sets. And ModeSock. The ModeKnitters went crazy for ModeSock, especially in Flow!
It was an amazing weekend, and we are going to do it again next month. Look for us in Watertown, SD at the North Country Fiber Fair September 19th-21st. We can’t wait to meet you!
