The greens, golds, browns and oranges that seem to inhabit the prairie year round, mixed together in a blocky color way.
Inspired by the colors of an abstract painting by Ana Maria Edulescu (Sunrise in Glory, Long Shadows of Trees at Dawn), this was originally a color from our DK Yarn club, and has now joined the ranks of our “Block” or variegated yarns!

Sookie’s colors are the rich brown of her auburn/red hair combined with her signature chef’s jacket color of magenta, blended with a touch of gold (reflecting her natural warmth and joyfulness.)
Rich orange and subtle pink tones blend onto a yellow base make a color with a bit more life than the average orange blend.

We were going to call this Yellow-to-Orange-to-Pink color “Tequila Sunrise”, but this name is much more fun, don’t you think?
