 (100% Superwash Merino 100 gr/ 232 yds), 2 balls
Needles:  Size 7US/4.5 mm or size necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Skill: K3, Intermediate
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 18 sts and 26 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st.

Stitch Guide

K2togR – Knit 2 tog with a right slant
Knit 2 sts tog so working needle points to right as it enters the stitches (aka k2tog.)
K2togL – Knit 2 tog with a left slant
Knit 2 sts tog so working needle points to left as it enters the stitches (aka SSK or K2tog-TBL)
K3togR – Knit 3 sts tog with a Right slant
K3togL – Knit 3 tog with a Left slant
VDD– Vertical Double Decrease:
Sl 2 sts as if to work k2togR, k1, pass slipped sts over (decrease of 2 sts)
YO – Yarn Over
Sl 1 wyrs – Slip one stitch with yarn to right side
Sl 1 wyws – Sl one stitch with yarn to wrong side
pk – Purl & Knit into the same st
kp – Knit & Purl into the same st
